SADI participates in the Commonwealth's Aged Care GP Panels program which was introduced in mid 2004 as a three year program. The Program aims to improve access to primary medical care for residents of aged care facilities as well as to increase GP participation in quality improvement activities in residential care. Funding is provided to Divisions and GPs to work with the aged care sector in addressing barriers to GP participation in residential aged care.
